System requirements

Crosslist requires a modern browser to function properly.

If you received a system warning during sign-up, it means your browser is outdated — most likely because your operating system doesn't support the required version.

Below are the minimum browser versions required to use Crosslist:

  • Chrome 111 (March 2023) (preferred browser)
  • Safari 16.4 (March 2023)
  • Firefox 128 (July 2024)

How to fix it

Follow the steps below based on your operating system:

Windows users

Press ⊞ Win + R, type winver, and press Enter.

(The ⊞ Win key is the one with the Windows logo, usually at the bottom-left of your keyboard.)

If you're using Windows 10 or Windows 11, simply install the latest version of Google Chrome.

If you're on Windows 7, 8, or older, your system has been deprecated.

In that case, you must upgrade to Windows 11 and then install Google Chrome.

INFO

Upgrading to Windows 11 is free.

Windows 7, 8, or older have been deprecated by Microsoft.

Please note that running an outdated operating system poses a severe security risk!

macOS users

Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen and click About This Mac to see your version.

If you're on macOS Ventura (13.3) or newer, simply install the latest version of Google Chrome.

If you're on an older version, please update macOS, and then install Google Chrome.

Chromebook users

Click the time in the bottom-right corner > Settings > About ChromeOS > Check for updates.

If your Chromebook longer receives updates, it's likely too old to support Crosslist reliably.

You’ll need a newer Chromebook that supports recent Chrome versions.
