AI settings

Crosslist's AI settings control how the AI writes and completes your listings.

They apply to every AI feature, so you set them once and they're used across generating new listings, completing missing fields, and AI bulk create.

You can adjust them in your AI settings. Remember to click the Save button when you're done.

These settings apply to Crosslist's AI features, which require the AI add-on.

Settings

• Tone: Choose how the AI writes your listings: neutral (default), friendly, professional, or humorous.
• Length: Choose Standard for the default description length, or Concise for something shorter.
• Custom instructions: Give the AI your own guidelines in plain language. These are split into three fields so you can target each part of the listing:
  • Custom title instructions: Guidelines that apply only to the title, for example "Always add the brand name after the title." Up to 1,000 characters.
  • Custom description instructions: Guidelines that apply only to the description, for example "Always start tags with #," or asking the AI to end every description with the same sign-off. Up to 10,000 characters.
  • Other custom instructions: Guidelines for all the remaining fields, everything besides the title and description. For example, you can tell the AI to leave a field out of the listing when it can't detect a value for it, instead of guessing. Up to 10,000 characters.
• Complete optional fields: When this is enabled, the AI also fills in fields that aren't strictly required by the selected marketplaces.

AI generations are limited based on your subscription plan. You can track your usage using the counter under Account.
