Editing your images

Crosslist offers an advanced image editor that makes it easy to improve your product photos.

You can crop, filter, annotate, blur, and fine-tune your images. You can also change the background color or add stickers — for example, to hide your face while modeling clothing.

To open the editor, click the Crayon icon on any image:

On the left side, you’ll find all the editing tools. When you select a tool, its controls appear at the top of the screen.

Here’s what each tool does:

Crop (default)

Use the crop tool to trim your image or change its aspect ratio.

  • Rotate left: rotates the image 90° counter-clockwise.
  • Flip horizontal: flips the image left-to-right.
  • Crop shape: constrain the crop to specific shapes (e.g., square).
  • Crop boundary: add extra space around the image. This is useful for changing aspect ratios. You can fill the added space with a background color using the Fill tool.

Filter

Apply color filters to enhance or stylize your photo (e.g., warmer tones, pastel effects).

Annotate

Add overlays like lines, arrows, or shapes. Useful for highlighting product details.

Sticker

Add emoji or decorative icons to your image.

Redact

Blur or obscure sensitive parts of the image, such as faces, addresses, or license plates.

Fill

Fill any whitespace added via Crop boundary with a selected background color.
