Mercari

Mercari offers two shipping methods: Standard shipping, where Mercari provides a discounted shipping label, or Ship on your own, where you arrange shipping yourself.

Before listing to Mercari through Crosslist, select Use Mercari label or Ship yourself in your Crosslist shipping profile for Mercari.

Crosslist applies your choice to all listings posted to Mercari.

Use Mercari label

With Use Mercari label, Mercari provides a discounted shipping label through its Standard shipping service.

The shipping cost is based on the package weight and, optionally, its dimensions. Enter these in the Crosslist listing form.

You can also set fallback weight and dimensions in your Crosslist shipping profile for Mercari. Crosslist uses them when you leave these fields empty in the listing form.

By default, the buyer pays for shipping. Turn on Seller pays domestic shipping to offer free shipping.

Mercari offers discounted Best Rate shipping for packages measuring 1 cubic foot or less, with no side longer than 22 inches. Enter your package dimensions in Crosslist to qualify for these lower rates.

Preferred carrier

You can set a Preferred carrier in your shipping profile. This is useful if some carriers are more reliable or affordable in your region.

Supported Mercari prepaid-label carriers:

• FedEx
• UPS
• USPS

By default, this is set to Cheapest.

If your preferred carrier is not available, Crosslist automatically chooses the cheapest available option.

If your preferred carrier has multiple rates, Crosslist still chooses the lowest cost.

Ship yourself

With Ship yourself, you arrange shipping and purchase your own shipping label.

Mercari doesn't let you charge buyers separately for shipping with this method.

All Ship yourself listings offer free shipping to the buyer, so you don't need to enter a shipping price.
