Setting up shipping profiles

Crosslist uses shipping profiles to manage shipping across multiple marketplaces.

These profiles let you set a preferred shipping method for each marketplace, which Crosslist automatically applies to your listings.

Currently, Crosslist supports three shipping methods:

  • Prepaid shipping: the marketplace provides the shipping label.
  • Ship yourself: you handle the shipping label.
  • Local pick-up: the buyer collects the item from a designated location.

Default shipping settings

Crosslist lets you set default shipping weights, dimensions, and prices for each marketplace. This is useful when you're frequently listing items with similar shipping requirements.

For Mercari and Facebook, you can also choose your preferred carriers, which is helpful if you prefer working with a specific carrier due to regional availability or other reasons.

Right now, you can choose between these carriers:

  • DHL
  • FedEx
  • UPS
  • USPS

You can configure your default settings by marketplace here.

INFO

When you set default shipping weights, dimensions, and prices, entering specific values in the listing form will override these defaults. The listing details take priority, so you can easily make adjustments.

If your preferred carrier is unavailable, Crosslist will select the cheapest option. If the preferred carrier is available with multiple choices, we’ll still choose the lowest cost. If no carrier is set, we’ll automatically pick the cheapest one.
