Editing your images

Crosslist offers an advanced image editor that makes it easy to improve your product photos.

You can crop, filter, add notes, blur, and fine-tune your images. Plus, you can change the background color or add stickers. Adding stickers is especially handy if you want to hide your face while showing off clothing.

INFO

To use the image editor, you need a Gold or Diamond subscription. More information about upgrading your plan can be found here.

You can edit your image by clicking the Crayon icon present within each image:

This will open the image editor:

On the left side, you will find different options for adjusting your image. When you click on one, the controls for that option will show up at the top of your screen. Below, you can see explanations for each option and how to use their controls.

Crop (default)

If you want to cut out part of your image, use the cropping tool by dragging the black anchors on the image's corners.

  • Rotate left: rotates the image.
  • Flip horizontal: flips the image horizontally.
  • Crop shape: choose how you want to crop your image. For example, if you select square, your image will automatically crop into a square format when you drag the handles on the image's corners or edges.
  • Crop boundary: increases the space around your image, for instance, to turn a square image into a rectangle. This will add white space to your image, which you can change using the Fill tool (see below).

Filter

Apply filters to your image to make them warmer, cooler, or add pastel colors.

Annotate

Draw or add objects like rectangles, arrows, or lines to your image.

Sticker

Add emojis or other images on top of your product image.

Redact

Blur specific information such as faces or license plates.

Fill

Use this function with the crop boundary tool to increase the whitespace around your image. You can then fill this whitespace with any of the predefined colors.
